What You’ll Learn
The Long-Term Care Community is anticipating the release of the updated RAI Manual and the final v1.18.11 MDS item sets. The updated RAI manual will give guidance on the changes in the MDS sections for coding and rationale. The MDS v1.18.11 version will be effective October 1, 2023. To date, many open questions surround the areas that may require changes related to these MDS changes including Quality Measures, state-level case-mix handling, the Five-Star Quality Rating System, and Casper reporting.
Join us for a review of the most current MDS updates and discuss additional fall out from these changes. Attendees of this seminar will:
1. Review the most current MDS items and upcoming changes.
2. Discuss focused areas that the MDS updates will impact.
3. Develop an ongoing plan for preparation of the upcoming MDS revisions.
