Quality Measures and an Ongoing Quality Improvement Plan
- November 8, 2022
10:00 am EST - 11:30 am EST
Event Phone: (954) MDS-3-ADL
What You’ll Learn
Quality Measures thresholds are updated every six months and increased by 50% of the average rate of improvement in the scores. CMS first announced this update in 2019, QSO-19-08-NH, and it was on hold due to pandemic. The thresholds were refreshed in April 2022. Look for updates to the thresholds to continue at six-month intervals as outlined in the QSO memo. Facilities need to have an ongoing quality improvement plan to monitor the RAI process ensuring accuracy of the posted Quality Measures.
Attendees of this seminar will learn how to:
1) Identify quality measures that need improvements
2) Discuss the prioritization of quality measures needing improvement
3) Set-up a quality improvement plan for quality measures
