-
June 13, 2023
10:00 am EDT - 11:30 am EDT
Event Phone: (954) MDS-3-ADL
What You’ll Learn
Functional abilities and goals in section GG of the MDS 3.0 currently reflect a resident’s usual performance with self-care and mobility. The resident’s usual performance reflects their function prior to the current illness, exacerbation, or injury upon admission, interim, and discharge assessments for Medicare Part A. With the October 2023 MDS 3.0 update, section G “activities of daily living” will be deleted. Functional Abilities and Goals will now be assessed not only on admission, interim, and discharge but with the OBRA required assessments.
Join us for this webinar to review section GG of the MDS and updates from the Draft RAI 3.0 User’s Manual Updates. Attendees of this seminar will:
1. Review section GG of the MDS
2. Discuss the Draft MDS 3.0 User Manual updates to section GG
3. Get tips for care planning with section GG
