What You’ll Learn
Do your resident’s behavior care plans meet the federal regulations and comply with the revised and newly developed guidance effective October 24, 2022? Are the CAAs related to behavior, mood and psychosocial investigated and used by the IDT to develop care plans? Resident mental health and behavioral needs are under close review for accurate diagnoses, behavior documentation, implementation of person-centered non-pharmacologic approaches, treatment and support from psychiatric/psychological services. Let’s review development of the CAA to Care plan process for resident with mental health and behavior needs.
